My preschool child has just been diagnosed with a learning disability.

What does this mean?

Many steps are involved in the evaluation of a child for a disability.  The next steps regarding your child's education will need to be decided by you and your district's appropriate personnel.  This often means collaborating together to provide an educational plan designed specifically for your child.  This plan will include goals for your child that should prove challenging and attainable.  These goals will be reviewed and modified to continually suit the specific needs of your child.
