Today's classrooms are not what they used to be and
today's students are not what we used to be. It is only when we refuse
to do things "the way they have always been done," that we can
begin to build upon the gifts & talents of today's students and
educators and provide an educational setting which helps all students
achieve their goals. The only thing necessary is to take that
first step.
Change is not easy nor easily accepted but it is crucial to the success
of our students and community. It is not until we realize:
 | Students of each school district are vital components of the
citizenry |
| Students of each district are the future of each community |
| The school district plays a crucial role in the economics of
its community |
| School districts cannot fully educate students without input from
the community |
| Decisions affecting students, therefore ultimately affecting the
community, should be data driven |
| Trial and Error, trial and success; these are the necessary
tools for improvement |
| Diverse perspectives on any issue should be encouraged, only when
all voices are heard can a community move toward common ground
leading to action |
| Teachers, administrators, students, parents, and the community are
keys to the success of a district. ONLY when these components
pursue a Shared Vision will success occur |
